We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join initiative focused on building AI systems for complex engineering and supply chain domains. The role is centered around developing production-ready generative and predictive AI solutions that bridge unstructured information (such as documents, regulations, and specifications) with structured enterprise systems.

You will work on designing and deploying AI engines that power decision-making, automation, and knowledge extraction across business-critical processes. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of model development, system integration, and collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

Key responsibilities:

Generative AI & NLP:

• Design and fine-tune LLMs for text parsing
• Build RAG pipelines
• Convert requirements into structured formats

Predictive Modeling:

• Develop forecasting models 
• Build risk scoring and classification models

System Integration:

• Integrate ML models via APIs
• Optimize performance and validate outputs

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with NLP and LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, transformer-based models).
• Experience building and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation techniques.
• Experience developing predictive models such as forecasting, classification, and risk scoring systems.
• Ability to integrate ML models into production systems via APIs (FastAPI / Flask).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data pipelines.
• Solid statistical and analytical background.
• Experience working with production-grade AI systems in real-world environments.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• Location in Poland or other EU country

Nice to have:

• Experience with multilingual NLP, ideally including Arabic or other non-Latin script languages
• Familiarity with RAG evaluation, fairness audits, and model explainability for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in supply chain, engineering, or regulated industries.
• Experience with MLOps practices and model monitoring in production.
• Familiarity with document intelligence, OCR, or knowledge extraction systems.

• Consulting background or experience working in complex stakeholder environments.
