We built a flexible web-based platform that helps a global transport solutions provider manage long-term vehicle service contracts more efficiently. The new system streamlines contract creation, integrates with multiple data sources and improves cost forecasting – all in one place. 

About the client 

The client is an international company offering commercial transport solutions. They operate across multiple regions, developing tools and services to support fleet management and optimise operational processes for transport businesses worldwide. 

When contract complexity slows business down

The client operated in multiple international markets, each with different rules, pricing models and service terms. Their existing tools could not handle this complexity, making every contract change slow and prone to errors. Teams relied on spreadsheets and manual checks to fill the gaps.

Data was scattered across separate systems, from vehicle usage to service history and financials, making it hard to get a full, up-to-date view or forecast costs accurately. Outdated, unintuitive interfaces added to the frustration for both internal teams and dealership partners. The client needed a flexible, integrated platform that could adapt to market differences, provide real-time tracking and deliver a smoother user experience.

Our role 

We provided a complete development team responsible for delivering the Contracted Services platform from scratch.

This included:

Designing for flexibility from day one 

We created an architecture and data model able to support different contract types, market rules and pricing logic without major rework.

Building a robust backend

Our team developed core services in Java and Kotlin, with secure REST APIs to handle all contract data and ensure smooth integration.

Creating a user-friendly interface

We built a React-based platform that allows both internal teams and dealership partners to create, update and review contracts with ease. 

Connecting to the wider ecosystem

The platform integrates with vehicle data feeds, financial modules and reporting systems, ensuring all information is in one place.

Automating cost calculations 

We implemented real-time calculations for contract margins and cost forecasts, using live vehicle and service data.

Delivering in agile cycles

We worked closely with the client in short, iterative sprints, gathering feedback and refining the platform step by step.
