London recently hosted The Media Production & Technology Show, a highly anticipated event for professionals in the media and broadcast industries. Our Colleague – Beata Zubaka, New Business Manager at Sigma IT Poland (current name: Holisticon Connect), participated in this important gathering to stay-up to date with the latest industry trends in virtual production.

The event aimed to explore the latest technological advancements driving content production in the UK. With an interactive exhibition and informative seminars, the show attracted over 10,000 attendees from the industry, providing ample opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.

Fueled by our passion for mixed reality, we took advantage of the event to learn more about this field. A panel discussion at the event provided a clear understanding of virtual production. Experts, including speakers from 80six & Virtual Production Studios, Pixotope, and Dark Matters, highlighted various methods and benefits of virtual production techniques. We emerged from the session with a comprehensive understanding of “virtual production” and its practical applications.
