To lead the strategic growth and further strengthen the management team, Nexer Group announces that Tomas Frimmel, former CEO of Microsoft Sweden, will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer on 1 September 2024. In this role, Frimmel will lead Nexer’s revenue strategy both globally and in Sweden, with a focus on leveraging the power of AI and cloud services to create even greater value for customers.
Tomas Frimmel brings a solid experience from Microsoft, where he most recently was CEO of Microsoft Sweden. During his time at Microsoft, he has held several strategic roles, including business area manager for Enterprise Commercial with responsibility for the largest private companies in Sweden. Tomas’ experience in driving revenue strategies for a global player makes him a valuable addition to Nexer Group.
Lars Kry, CEO of Nexer Group, comments:
“Tomas’ experience from Microsoft and his extensive expertise in leadership and transformation make him an important part of our strategy to become the leading partner for platform companies such as Microsoft, IBM and others. With Tomas at the helm, we are strengthening our position as an obvious partner. By strengthening our ties with platform companies, we can continue to be a force that drives innovation and digital transformation.”
Tomas Frimmel is looking forward to his new role and the opportunity to contribute to Nexer’s continued success, both in Sweden and internationally.
“I am impressed by the journey Nexer Group has made and look forward to creating even greater value for our customers. My task will be to continue to build an organisation that not only meets the needs of our customers, but also exceeds their expectations through strong, diversified relationships,” says Tomas. “By combining strong partnerships and innovation, especially in AI, we can create real value for both customers and society. Nexer’s expertise in strategy, technology and communication is crucial for us to continue to earn our customers’ trust and support their evolving needs in new ways.”
Tomas continues:
“Success is built on strong teams and good customer relationships. It is important to integrate our business strategy with the strengths of our people to ensure we always have the right skills in the right place at the right time. To get there, we need to embrace innovation and ensure that everyone in the organisation has a basic understanding of technology and AI. This, together with an inclusive culture where we build on each other’s strengths, will be the means we use to achieve our customers’ vision.”
In recent years, Nexer has established itself as a leader in digital transformation and technology solutions. The company has achieved impressive growth by consistently focusing on innovation and global partnerships.
“Our vision is to bring together strategy, technology and communication in a coherent vision that leads the digital transformation, while maintaining our strong roots in Sweden. By harnessing the inherent power of innovation and collaboration, combined with Tomas‘ immense expertise, we can drive progress and help solve the challenges our customers face,” Kry concludes.
