[Stockholm, 3rd May 2024] – Nexer, a global tech company with strong roots in the Swedish heritage of entrepreneurship and innovation, announces the successful implementation of an AI-translation solution for Thule Group. By harnessing the translation capabilities of ChatGPT integrated with their Stibo Systems STEP PIM solution, Thule can now seamlessly translate all product information into more than 20 languages.
Traditionally, the multiple language translation process posed a challenge for Thule Group, often taking weeks. However, with the innovative solution provided by Nexer, Thule has transformed this arduous process into one that now takes minutes, enabling them to share and publish translated content to their website and other sale channels on an hourly basis.
One of the key benefits of the solution is the remarkable increase in speed without compromising on quality while cutting costs significantly. The translations produced are of high calibre, allowing Thule to present their products accurately and promptly on any market they target. This enhancement in efficiency and accuracy marks a significant milestone for Thule Group in their global expansion efforts and modern, digital Commerce.
Antonio Diaz, Product Owner PIM, Thule Group, commented on the background and transformative impact of the delivered AI translation solution
“We decided to explore AI for translations to reduce the cost and translation timeline of our products’ copy. By leveraging AI, we were looking to transform the current translation process, which was slow and resource-intensive, into a streamlined, efficient process that provides real-time, accurate translations across multiple languages. This shift fundamentally changes the way we operate instead of struggling with language delays, we seamlessly communicate across borders and cultures with faster project execution. For our worldwide organisation, this evolution has represented immense value.”
“We are very thankful for the outstanding support and delivery provided by Nexer, which not only met but surpassed our expectations with their implementation. The achievement of milestones and the implementation of actual functionalities have truly exceeded what we envisioned,” added Diaz.
Nexer takes pride in its commitment to driving innovation and empowering its clients to thrive in today’s digital landscape. The successful collaboration with Thule Group exemplifies Nexer’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge solutions that make a tangible difference in the way businesses operate and grow.
Fredrik Larsson, CEO at Nexer Data Management about the solution and collaboration:
“We understand that success lies in truly grasping our customers’ business intricacies and we invest heavily in understanding our customers’ unique requirements and workflows, ensuring that our solutions are tailored to address their specific challenges. Additionally, we recognise the importance of providing AI systems with intelligent prompts that guide them towards meaningful outcomes. This particular delivery was another great Master Data Alliance collaboration where we’ve combined the best of Nexer’s and msg systems’s previously developed tools for AI translations where we as one team working together could provide Thule Group with a great, 2nd generation AI translation solution, on Stibo STEP.”
Nexer and msg systems are both founding partners in the Master Data Alliance, an alliance of leading PIM and MDM practises in Europe.
“By combining deep customer understanding with sophisticated AI capabilities integrated with a world leading multi domain MDM platform, like Stibo Systems, we empower our clients to unlock new levels of efficiency, innovation, and growth. It’s this fusion of human insight and technological finesse that drives our ability to deliver impactful solutions, empowering our clients to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
