NEXER SIGNS FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH THE SWEDISH ARMED FORCES

Nexer announces that the company has been awarded a framework agreement for IT consulting services by the Swedish Armed Forces. This agreement positions Nexer as one of four suppliers providing IT consulting services to the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the next three years, with the possibility of extension up to a total of seven years.

The framework agreement, which enters into force on April 21, 2025, and has a ceiling volume of 2,145 MSEK, encompasses IT consulting services across three main areas of expertise:

1. IT systems
2. Testing of IT systems
3. IT and information security

The procurement aims to support the Swedish Armed Forces’ and FMV’s IT operations by providing the necessary expertise and resources for the development, management, operation, maintenance and support of their IT systems. This includes both new and legacy systems, as well as proprietary and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems.

The overarching goals of the agreement include increasing and securing the security of supply with reliable, quality-focused suppliers; achieving flexibility and quality by ensuring the right expertise is available, securing market-based prices and cost-effectiveness, and fostering effective supplier cooperation at strategic, tactical and operational levels.

While the need for IT consultants is nationwide, most assignments are expected to be in and around Stockholm and the Mälardal region. The procurement includes security protection agreements in accordance with the Security Protection Act, ensuring that all assignments adhere to the highest security standards.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded this framework agreement by the Swedish Armed Forces. It’s a testament to our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality IT consulting services. We look forward to working with the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV to support their IT operations and contribute to their success”, says Lars Kry, CEO of Nexer Group.

Susanne Paulsson, Head of Public Sector at Nexer Group, adds:

“This framework agreement highlights the trust placed in Nexer to deliver critical IT services in one of the most important sectors for national security. We are committed to ensuring that the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV receive the best expertise and solutions to meet their evolving IT needs. Our team is excited and proud to contribute to this significant mission.”
