Västerås is expanding thanks to its robust industrial base and thriving business environment. Nexer has therefore initiated a locally focused initiative to meet the region’s needs in technology and digitalisation.
Nexer Group, a global tech company specialising in strategy, technology, and communication, is strengthening its presence in Västerås and Ludvika. This initiative aims to further support the local business community with expertise in digitalisation, IT, and technology. Nexer’s extensive experience in manufacturing industries aligns well with the growing local market, characterised by major companies such as ABB, Westinghouse, Hitachi, SAAB, and Volvo.
“We are prepared to be a valuable partner to the industrial companies here. By combining local experts with Nexer’s collective expertise and global reach, we can offer everything from individual expert resources to comprehensive commitments and tailored teams”, says Business Area Manager Ronny Axelsson.
As part of the initiative, the existing office in Västerås has been reinforced with employees who possess both deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of the local market. Felipe Salas, newly appointed Unit Manager, believes it is imperative to expand and invest where the growing needs are:
“Of course, we want to meet the growing demands we see in the region, so it feels entirely right and incredibly exciting to commit to Västerås”!
Nexer strives to always be at the forefront and places strong emphasis on continuous development. Leveraging its extensive network, Nexer creates a broad and dynamic platform that promotes knowledge sharing and collaboration, both internally and externally. Additional employees are now being recruited, with areas of focus including system development, system architecture, test management, and project management. Looking confidently towards the future, Linus Ivarsson, consulting manager, states:
“There is an immense amount of talent in the city, and I am truly looking forward to being part of building our team here. We have many exciting career opportunities at Nexer, so I hope interested candidates seize the opportunity and get in touch”.
In the near future, relocation to new premises centrally located in Västerås awaits. This initiative, reflecting the continued growth and innovative spirit of the region, indicates a promising future for the industry, the local business community, and Nexer.
